Humorous birthday cards are great birthday cards to give to friends, family and even someone special that has a great sense of humor. If you want deep, meaningful birthday cards, you probably have to come up with them yourself. After all, telling someone how much you care is something that has to come from the heart. I’ve always thought that is better to get a humorous birthday card that will definitely get a laugh than a deep one that might miss the mark. Don’t get me wrong. For years, it would be almost impossible to go into the local hallmark and find a birthday card that could get more than a polite laugh. Since the Internet has reached its current popularity, however, humorous birthday cards are much more readily available. In fact, you can find humorous birthday messages for almost every age and every interest. There are humorous cards that are suitable for kids, as well as ones that are intended for adults. You can literally go online and find hundreds of humorous birthday cards printed by dozens of different companies, all from the privacy of your own home. Now I’m not saying that these humorous birthday cards are by and large funnier than the hallmark ones. If anything, the average quality has gone down. But there are so many to pick from that you are bound to find one that truly is funny.
The only problem with buying humorous birthday cards on the Internet is that you really have to change your buying habits. Almost everyone I know is in the habit of buying birthday cards at the last minute, but the strategy just doesn’t work online. You need to order your humorous birthday cards weeks in advance, and with that much time to wait you might as well write your own. Then again, there are plenty of companies that will let you print birthday cards from their websites at the last minute. You only have to supply the paper.
